The Regional Business Development research group at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences enhances working life, entrepreneurship, family-friendliness, and diversity in the Kainuu region. Currently, we focus on business development in sparsely populated areas, operating under the following two overarching themes:
1. Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Education
Our research group supports entrepreneurship and education in the Kainuu region. We provide networking opportunities, mentoring, skills development, expertise, and practical tools via training courses.
2. Regional Development
We support regional development, family-friendliness, and diversity in the Kainuu region. Our research group offers, for example, networking opportunities, trainings and information about Kainuu investments. Our innovative solutions enhance local business competitiveness and promote regional growth.
