Spaceship Game Jam in Kajaani, 29.–31.8.2025

The gaming scene is buzzing again as the world’s first space-themed game jam arrives in Kajaani on 29–31 August 2025.

The Spaceship Game Jam is a joint event organized by ESA (European Space Agency) and Finnish Game Jam, taking place simultaneously in nine locations across Finland. In Kajaani, the event is organized by IGDA Kajaani in cooperation with the Kajaani Game Collective. The venue for the event is Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.

The event is a combination of a game jam and a hackathon, open to anyone interested in space. The aim is to tackle real challenges of space through games.
