MATCH MADE Mentoring Program ll Starts in October
The mentoring program is aimed at entrepreneurs in the Kainuu region as well as students and professionals interested in entrepreneurship. The program will be presented at the Perspectives on the career landscape in Kainuu (Näkökulmia kainuulaiseen uramaisemaan) event, which will take place on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, at the Kajaani Campus.
The entrepreneurship-themed MATCH MADE Mentoring Program II will kick off in October. The program is a continuation of the pilot run held in spring, and it is organized by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK), Kajaani Educational Service, and Kainuun Yrittäjät.
– The previous mentoring program was a success, and we received valuable feedback and ideas for developing it further. The new program will run for a longer period, and we have also added more joint events around the Kainuu region, says Project Manager Mari Määttä from Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.
The mentoring program lasts six months and offers fresh perspectives on entrepreneurship and specialist work.
– Mentoring is a great way to learn new things in an agile manner, and you can get targeted insights directly for you needs. Mentors have a wealth of tacit knowledge and valuable experience to share with mentees. If you are thinking about how to develop your skills, need support in finding your own direction, or as an entrepreneur want to share your experience to help a new entrepreneur, network and be inspired, you should definitely join the program, encourages Päivi Karhu, who took part in the mentoring program in spring.
The mentoring program is free of charge, and registration is open on the Business Kainuu website.
