Are you a team player with passion for sports? The fully English-taught Sports Coaching and Business Management degree at KAMK is a unique degree in Finland. We offer you a versatile degree that develops your professional skillset and competences in sports and exercise instruction, coaching and smart training as well as in business and management.

At the start of the degree, you will focus on gaining the basic knowledge in sports after which you will apply the acquired theory into practice. Later, you will be instructing sports and exercise, practice coaching and working with real clients and implement various projects and events. Furthermore, you will become familiar with sports technology and learn how to use digital tools to promote physical activity and well-being.

Professional facilities locally

Kajaani is located 30 minutes from a year-around sport resort Vuokatti, where top-level sport organizations such as Vuokatti-Ruka Sports Academy and Vuokatti Olympic Training Centre train athletes. A part of the studies can be arranged also in Vuokatti, in the form of intensive weeks, in collaboration with these organizations.

Tuition fee

There is a tuition fee for non-EU/EEA citizens starting their studies at KAMK. Read about KAMK’s tuition fee policy from here.

Student Agreement

All non-EU/EEA citizens selected for English-taught studies leading to a Finnish higher education degree must read and approve a Student Agreement before accepting the study place. The Agreement applies to students who will start their studies after 1.1.2023.
