Data Center Lab

In data center studies, students familiarize themselves with the structure, operation, and maintenance of data centers. They learn to manage the installation, maintenance, and updating of both hardware and software. The training prepares them to work in a data center environment, where technical skills and precision are required.

Our Services

Data center studies include hardware management, such as the installation, configuration, and monitoring of servers, storage solutions, and network devices.

Students set up virtualization environments like VMware or Proxmox and deploy cloud services such as Microsoft Azure. Security services cover firewalls, access control, backups, and threat prevention. The studies also focus on maintenance services, including fault repairs and documentation.

Our Equipment

As a data center student, you get to work in KAMK’s own data center, which is intended solely for student use, and you will have administrator rights.

The data center is highly versatile, efficient, and represents the latest technologies on the market. You won’t find a similar data center dedicated to student use anywhere else in Europe.
