INSHAPE – European cross regional innovation for Sports & Active Healthy Lifestyle

The general objective of INSHAPE is to strengthen the European digital economy by growing the ClusSport S3 Partnership into a resilient INSHAPE Innovation and Investment Hub acting as a European Competence Centre for SME initiatives in the field of sports and vitality/technology to support the creation of interregional innovation investments resulting in the commercialisation and scale up of innovative SME-led initiatives in the field of sports and vitality/technology, concentrating on cases with high technology readiness levels (TRL6-9). In the project also the Innovation Ecosystem for Healthy Active People in Europe will be developed.
Main activities are 1) develop the flagship business cases into interregional value chains by joining in co-developer SMEs and by operationalizing the complementary innovation and business support portfolio of the INSHAPE network, 2) launch a second stream of interregional innovation investment cases supported by the INSHAPE ecosystem support services, 3) make sure that data/digitalization services are available to SMEs and the use of data is integrated in the innovation cycle and 4) strengthen the synergies the governance and sustainable structure of the Innovation Ecosystem for Healthy Active People in Europe.
The project main results are:  European Innovation Ecosystem in Sports and Healthy Lifestyle, digital- and data services for companies and product development process and support  for companies and a strong network in the field of sport and wellbeing (national and international level).
Project partners are from Finland (KAMK, JYU, CSE Entertainment, LUAS, LAB, LADEC), Netherlands, Spain and Hungary
