The project develops qualification pathways for foreign healthcare and social services professionals to ensure that access to the Finnish labor market for those who have completed nursing education abroad is as smooth as possible. The project produces teaching content and materials in two languages. In addition, it supports the integration and retention of students from different cultural backgrounds in the region, for example by developing workplace training and increasing the multicultural competence of work communities. Furthermore, the project develops innovative teaching methods for Finnish as a second language (S2) education and strengthens cooperation with working life as part of the qualification training.
