The fully English-taught Sports and Leisure Management degree at KAMK is a unique degree in Finland. We offer you a versatile degree that develops your professional skillset and competences in sports and exercise instruction, coaching and smart training as well as in sports business and management.

At the start of the degree, you will focus on gaining the basic knowledge in sports after which you will apply the acquired theory into practice. Later, you will be instructing sports and exercise, practice coaching and working with real clients and implement various projects and events. Furthermore, you will become familiar with sports technology and learn how to use digital tools to promote physical activity and well-being.

Studies

Structure of Studies

The second year of studies will take place in a nearby sports-oriented village called Vuokatti. During the second year, you will deepen your knowledge in the fields of well-being promotion, coaching, testing and sports events.

Tuition fee

There is a tuition fee for non-EU/EEA citizens starting their studies at KAMK. Read about KAMK’s tuition fee policy from here.

Student Agreement

All non-EU/EEA citizens selected for English-taught studies leading to a Finnish higher education degree must read and approve a Student Agreement before accepting the study place. The Agreement applies to students who will start their studies after 1.1.2023.
