Applying for Exchange at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences

Students who are studying in one of Kajaani University of Applied Sciences' partner universities can apply to be exchange students at KAMK.  It is also possible to apply to be a trainee, to complete a practical training in places organised by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. Exchange students normally come through exchange programmes such as Erasmus+.

We may also accept visiting students (students who are studying in universities with no valid agreement with KAMK), but these are always considered on a case by case basis.

Language Requirement

Exchange students must have sufficient skills in the English language to follow classes (at least level B2 on the Common European Framework ) as the studies offered given in English are of advanced level. However, we do not require any official languages test certificates from the exchange students  coming from our partner universities.
